Glen Svensson
 Glen Svensson was born and bred in Ipswich (Australia). Attained a BSc in IT at the University of Queensland. After 4 years working in Brisbane, spent the next 8 years working and travelling around the world. Having 'bumped' into Buddhism during my travels (I read a book about Buddhism and it seemed so logical and many things resonated extremely well with my innate beliefs), I attended my first Dharma teaching in Dharamsala, India in 1995 and after completing the 2 following Kopan November courses in Kathmandu, Nepal, went on to enrol in the Masters Program at the Istituto Lama Tzong Khapa in Tuscany, Italy in 1998. Eight years later (having completed the Masters Program along with an 8 month retreat at Oseling in Spain) I'm back in Australia and looking forward to helping others in their Dharma studies and practice. |
