Chogye Rinpoche's holy body, or kudung, was brought from his retreat house at Narayantan to his monastery, Jamchen Lhakhang in Boudhanath, Kathmandu, Nepal, on Friday Feb. 9.

As the procession reached Boudhanath, a huge rainbow in a perfect circle appeared around the sun. The rainbow remained until Chogye Rinpoche's holy body was placed in the upper room of the monastery and visited by the the high lamas, about one and a half hours. Then the rainbow remained as a half circle arc above the sun until after 4pm. This was witnessed by everyone, and went out live throughout Asia on Channel Nepal.
