1,000-arm Avalokiteshvara – large and medium size

Avalokiteshvara (Tib. Chenrezig) is the Buddha of Compassion. With his 1,000 arms he continuously and compassionately benefits sentient beings in whatever ways are needed. His Holiness the Fourteenth Dalai Lama is a manifestation of the Buddha of Compassion on earth. This beautiful thangka was painted by Nepali-Tibetan artisans using traditional methods especially for The Foundation Store. The depiction is simple yet elegant, with significant gold accents.
