Short lamrim retreats, Chenrezig Institute, Queensland, Australia, led by Thubten Yeshe
These retreat weekends are designed to help you dive into the Graduated Path to Enlightenment. The focus will be on deep exploration of the LamRim meditations through reflection and concentrated meditation. Since 1974 Thubten Yeshe has been a student of Lama Thubten Yeshe and Lama Thubten Zopa Rinpoche, as well as many other teachers such as His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Kirti Tsenshab Rinpoche, Ribur Rinpoche, and Khensur Kangyurwa Lobsang Thubten Rinpoche. Currently she teaches and leads retreats both in Australia, where she lived since 1985, and overseas.

June 18 - July 18, 2010, one month lamrim retreat, Chenrezig Institute, Queensland, Australia, led by Ven, Thubten Gyatso (DB students wishing to fulfill the Lamrim retreat commitment will be able to attend the first 15 days),
Ven Gyatso, a medical graduate of the University of Melbourne, was ordained as a Buddhist monk 33 years ago. He has studied with many Tibetan Lamas (including extensive studies with both Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche) and performed several meditation retreats, including recently completing three years of total isolation. He has helped establish Monasteries in Nepal, France and Mongolia and built Thubten Shedrup Ling Monastery in Australia. He has taught Buddhist psychology and meditation in many countries around the world including the one-month course at Kopan Monastery in Nepal. Gyatso’s relaxed style, dry humor and meditation experience promise a fulfilling experience for students of all levels.
