A Time of Action
Now begins the real development of FPMT in this world, liberation and enlightenment for all sentient beings. It is like a good seed has been planted; now a great plant with many flowers will grow.
–Lama Zopa Rinpoche, 2006

Dear FPMT Family,

Every day, Lama Zopa Rinpoche works tirelessly to bring maximum benefit to sentient beings. Whether teaching, giving advice, liberating animals, doing prayers, or anything else, Rinpoche acts with the motivation of helping others as much as possible.

Among Rinpoche's many activities are the truly amazing projects of FPMT. FPMT Mongolia is helping restore the Dharma in a place where it was lost, repaying the kindness of those who preserved it for centuries. The Amdo Eye Clinic will bring free cataract surgery and other eye care to poor people in northeastern Tibet. The Sera Je Food Fund offers three meals a day to the 2700 monks of Sera Je Monastery in India. People working for Rinpoche's projects are creating holy objects, translating texts, supporting Western Sangha, creating retreat places, helping animals in need, and much more.

To meet the challenge of our times, human beings will have to develop a greater sense of universal responsibility. Each of us must learn to work not just for his or her own self, family or nation, but for the benefit of all.
–His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama
